THIS WORK PLATFORM IS COMMON IN WAREHOUSING FOR GAINING ACCESS TO HEIGHT FOR PICKING SMALL ITEMS AND MAINTENENCE DUTIES TRAINING IS OFFERED OF 1 TO 2 DAYS DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY WE OFFER NOVICE REFRESHER EXPERIENCED AND CONVERSION TRAINING.

ARTICULATING BOOM
These Machines are commonplace in industry today to gain height to do anything from painting to general maintenence . They are mobile and versatile and can be easy to use and some quite difficult. they also come battery powered or diesel fuel driven. Also varying kinds, from single operator platforms to two men platforms.They can be also vehicle mounted.They extend or reach using hydraulic booms, masted booms, articulated and scissor mechanism. all must have a trained operator to use them. They can however be dangerous in the wrong hands, therefore sound knowledge of their use and the do's and dont's is very important. Especially as they can tip over. Also if the operator was not wearing a harness and the correct safety wear may fall from an excess of 10 Mtrs and could suffer serious injury or death. Not only from falling to ground but also being suspended in mid air, as the operator could die from the pressure of the harness as he is suspended under immense pressure so adequate training is of upmost importance the operatoer also needs to know how to deal with machine failure at height. The emergency lower procedure. It is also a reccomendation that persons who suffer from a fear of height may not be sutable operators of this type of machine.
